Dating vs. Wearing !

One of the toughest decisions you have to make in your life is what to wear on the first date:) Different guys will take you to as many different places, but you need to shine weather you're at an underground party or yachting. Nobody wants to end up overdressed or underdressed or even just looking inappropriate and ridiculous.

So I decided to write this post just to set some ground rules on what should be worn on which occasion.


1. THE MAN WHO TAKES YOU OUT FOR A DRINK

One of the most difficult outfits to choose since you might be having drinks anywhere. It should be the perfect balance between graceful, girly and you mustn't seem overdressed. Accessories should be modest but yet sufficient to give the exact look you need. Here's what I would choose:

2.THE MAN WHO TAKES YOU FOR A WALK IN THE PARK

Flowers, nature, lake, sun... A perfect day to pull out your most preppy dress and your hat and start living a French romance. This guy must be very romantic like those from an old movies:)




3.THE MAN WHO TAKES YOU ON THE BEACH


This sure is such a good idea for a first date. This guy is an adventurous type. He'll take you to the place you least expect. So you need to be very prepared. A nice colouful dress will do the thing. Match it with a cute hat and bag and voila you have a great outfit. Don't forget to use waterproof make up and a sun creme. Nobody wants to date Elmo from the Muppets.





4.THE PRINCE CHARMING THAT TAKES YOU TO THE BALL


And who's a better princess than Carrie Bradshaw to get inspired from? She always has those cute dresses and shoes with lovely matching purses. Remember one of the last episodes An American Girl in Paris when she wore the 10 layers dress. She looked like a fairytale - a perfect look for a date with the Prince:)

5.THE MAN WHO MEETS YOU FOR BRUNCH

Always look fancy and elegant on a brunch. It's enough to wear your perfect shorts with a casual top and statement jewelry that will complete the look.

6.THE MAN WHO COOKS YOU DINNER

He invited you at his place and he cooks for you. That means he likes you a lot. So since you are not going out you don't want to leave the impression that you're all dressed up for him. Jeans will do just fine. You can pay more attention to the shirt you'll be wearing and make sure it doesn't expose too much but be careful as well not to hide everythimg. And don't forget to bring him something sweet :D




7.THE MAN WHO TAKES YOU AT THE MOVIES


Movies is not an elegant date. Dress girly and sweet.

This sure is the man of my dreams:) I'm imagining my self with a white dress fancy bag and hat with the breeze that's blowing my hair and the sound of the sea  and maybe even Sebastian from the Little Mermaid singing "Kiss the girl":)

Not the fairytale date I imagine but as long as you're happy it's fine. For this date only 2 words: Juicy Couture.

Ok. Don't panic. Remember that leather jacket you have inside your closet? It's time to put it out. With your black dress and a long golden necklace, black nail polish and black shoes you'll look like John Lennon's biggest fan:)

My way of dieting!

After the holidays there's that stresful time that you have to face your worse nightmare: THE SCALE.
And the results are always the same:

There are also those lucky girls who can eat anything they want and never get fat. Unfortunately I'm not that lucky.
Everyone has some weakness about some sort of food. Some like chocolates, some like fast food. I like McDonalds and chips. It's ok to have a weakness and grant yourself the pleasures of snacks but the thing you need to learn is how to be moderate. Sometimes people find it hard to resist. Of course how can you resist these:

Most common ways to lost weight are diets. Another unfortunate details is that we all hate them. I've never been on a strict diet because:

a. I don't need a piece of paper to tell me how many gr of .... I should eat per day. Everyone is aware what food should be and should not be eating.
b. Most of the diets make you lose weight and after you've finished doing them you put your weight back.

So here's how I eat and somehow managed to keep the same weight:

BREAKFAST:

I once read that you should always start your morning by eating a fruit or making yourself a nice squeezed juice from the fruit that you like. I squeeze two oranges and one grapefruit. Afterwards you can have your coffee and breakfast. I drink my coffee sugar free and usually eat a sweet croissant with no creme inside.

LUNCH:

Unfortunately I don't always have time for lunch because I'm all day out and I avoid eating sandwiches since I'm not a big fan of bread. But when I do lunch I tend to find something like a puff pastry mostly with spinach.

DINNER:

This is the only meal that should be skipped. But for people with busy schedule like me who don't have time to lunch it's the most wanted meal in the day. So you need to be very careful on what you eat for dinner. Carbs are out of question. Proteins are favoured. Since I don't like meat I usually eat mushrooms and salad or Greek salad or maybe grilled vegetables. If I haven't eaten lunch that day than I eat corn flakes with yoghurt.

TIPS:

1. Don't skip breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

2. Avoid carbs at the evening, if you want to eat pasta or pizza and you can't resist, then eat it for lunch.

3. Don't eat more the 1500 kcal.

 4. If you know you have eaten more than you should've and you are still hungry make your self a cup of tea (Twinings have all kinds of flavours).

5. Chewing gum keeps your mouth occupied and give you the sense that you're eating.

6. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits.

7. Drink a lot of water.

8. Physical activity it's not only good for the figure but also for the health.

9. Prefer diet and light products. For example Coca Cola Zero has the same flavour as Coca Cola but has no calories.

10. If you are watching movie with a friend offer her/him a different kind of snacks. Instead of chips and pop corns you can eat carrots and celery.


And girls remember the most important thing: NEVER, EVER EXAGGERATE WITH DIETS you can bring yourself to an eating disorder and that is an illness. Perfection is overrated and when you increase your self esteem and then you look yourself in the mirror you'll see a completely different person and this time you'll look perfect.

And also when you see all the celebrities remember that there's always a team working behind their perfect appearance.

And last but not least: The real beauty comes from the inside. Make sure to be the a warm and kind person and you'll achieve perfection.

How utopia became dystopia...

Hello dear readers,

How are you? Did you enjoy the holidays? I sure did! Everyone needs a vacation once in a while, especially before the important months of the year. All my followers know why January and February are so important, of course the primary subject of my blog is fashion and that means that these girls follow these events very carefully as much as I do, but in case there's a "boy" reading my post by mistake I better explain why's that so.
One sacred word that is a fashionable girl's religion - SALES.
Remember all those cute pieces you wanted to buy but they were to expensive. Now it's all possible with 50% off. They are available and waiting for you to adopt them :)

Remember how Rebecca Bloomwood felt while passing those big store windows and the dolls were whispering to her and making her compliments on how good she'd look with the green scarf?
That's how I feel while passing the centre of Bologna.

But the utopia ends there and all becomes a mess because of the other reason of the importance of these months. And if that boy is still reading this post he'll probably know that reason.
There's no single student who doesn't consider January, February, June , July and September as the months that decide their destiny.
Yes, that's right. The months of the exams.
Have you ever wondered why do sales and exams always go together???


So dear readers, here's the biggest DILEMMA of every student who loves fashion:

SOLUTION: There's time to do everything. Time to shop and time to study. Sure exams period ruins the complete joy of stressless shopping. But if you study from 11 to 17 then you can shop as much as you want without the conscience speaking to you. You'll feel satisfied with your self by doing those 6 hours of hard work. And what's the biggest reward you can give to yourself? A new pair of shoes, that's right!

So girls, good luck with your exams and shopping hope you pass all the exams and buy so many cute outfits. And dear boy if you're still reading maybe you should consider becoming my follower :)
